A successful 100% female competition in Alps

ヴァルディゼールにて行われた冬の祭典アルペンスキーW杯（女）。さあ、いよいよ大会当日レポートをお伝えするわよ！会場は、多くの人たちで雪を溶かすほどの盛り上がり。標高2500mでのビッグパーティーを早速チェック★
Voila le report de la Coupe du monde de ski alpin au Val d’Isère ! C’était chaud puisque la neige commençait à fondre.. Allez check la grosse soirée à 2500m d’altitude !
アルペンスキーW杯（男）が雪の少なさでキャンセルになって、一時期ひや〜っとしていたけれど、ようやくスキー試合が出来るくらい雪が積もり、冬のクリスマスバカンスが開始したこともあって、「今年度の初スキー！」と、この日の高級スキーリゾート地ヴァルディゼールは大興奮！大会のため、スキー界のプリンセスリンゼイ・ボンやマリオン・ローランなども登場。
Lat December, I couldn’t find lot of snow and Men’s Alpine Ski FIS World Cup was canceled. So I was worried about the fact that this competition could be canceled too.. BUT, it was confirmed for Alpine World Cup for Female at Val d’isere! So, they were a big big festa for first snow and first Ski competition here in Val d’isere ! Our Snow princess Lindsey Vonn presented for Alpine Ski too!! Yeahh

会場には、RTL2 ライブラジオや、スポンサーのGo Pro、evian、milko、Fromage Beaufortなどのブースがあった。アルプスの雪の中で本場チーズフォンデューは、とっても最高だった。
At the competition place, it was so crowded with RTL2 Radio booth, Go Pro, Evian, milk and Fromage Beaufort etc… sponsors of this event settled a big ambience ! Yeahh So lovely fondue de fromage! that’s amazing to taste it in the mountain !

とは言え外は寒い！そんな私は、大会スポンサー関係者が入れるclub evian VIPルームにて大会をのんびり観戦。
As you know, it’s so cold…… MIKI TV luxe from tropical south island, it’s not so easy to stay… So I stayed at the Club Evian VIP room to watch the competition 😉

中には、美味しそうなフードやシャンパンが盛りだくさん！
Of course, with champagne ! (like every time..) and some food too 😉

午前中からたいへんっ！みんなでスキー観戦しながらシャンパンパーティ★なんてラッキーな私。（やっぱり飲むのかMIKI TV・・・）

しばらくして、外に出て会場を偵察してみた。
Then, I go outside to search some nice guys !
冬休みが始まったこともあり、スキー教室に通うキッズたちも多く
Hmm, I found many kids who attended ski school during holiday.

とってもキュートな会場に！
They are so cute ❤

この中からも将来有能な選手になるキッズが現れるかしら？
I hope someone among then will become a big star !

出発地点に行く途中のドイツ代表マルティナも発見！
and Martina WILLIBALD from Germany who’s ready to go.
さあそうこうしているうちに、過去に4回優勝しているアルペンの女王リンゼイ・ボンがまたもや優勝を手にし、アルペンスキーW杯が終了、そして『ロンジン・フューチャー・スキーチャンピオン 2014』が開幕した。
Alpine SKI World Cup finish after Lindsey Vonn keep her top score, then competitors of the Longines Future Ski Champions 2014 started same place.

大人顔負けの滑りを披露。勝ち負けより経験、全力は尽くすも楽しんで滑ろうとするガールたち。
They played ski very well with same conditions as a professional’s piste. They enjoyed skiing for this special experience .
青春映画のような感動のエピソードが生まれたり、とってもホットな大会！
I waited ski player close to the goal, and I looked many faces of the kids. Sometime it was like a youth film.
優勝は、イタリア代表カルロッタ、準優勝には、フィンランド代表ネラ（写真上 2人）。2人はなんと、0,16秒差・・・勝ち負けではないとは言え、これは悔しい2番手・・・
Yes…Carlotta Saracco, who represented Italy, won the 2014 Longines Future Ski Champions title.. and Nella KORPIO was 2nd place with +0,16 second…hmm just 0,16… I think it’s so vexing!
最後にはみんなでお疲れさま！今回優勝しなかったガールたちも、将来の『勝』に向けてこれから猛特訓だね。この大会により、もっともっと強くなって欲しい
It’s very frustrating but she have found new goal.. and of course for another girls. Because they have a future, they can take more force

そしていつの日か、リンゼイ・ボンや、わずか19歳でありながら世界中のスキー大会で活躍中のロンジンアンバサダーミカエラ・シフリンなどに次ぐアルペンスキー選手がここから生まれることを願う大人たち・・・。って、完璧スキーガールたちの中に混ざっていたMiki（スキー歴ほぼ無）
and one day, they will become like “Lindsey Vonn” or Mikaela Shiffrin who is an ambassador for Longines and the youngest slalom champion in Olympic alpine skiing history, at 18 years. Good luck girls!
ちなみに今回のスキー大会のように、世界中の誰もが知るテニス大会『ローラン・ギャロス』やホースレース『ディアヌ賞』でも密かにキッズをサポートした大会が行われている。2つとも行ったことがある大会だったけれど、今までキッズにはあまり注目していなかった・・・次回はチェックしてみようかな。
Apart from its commitment to young skiers, Longines also organises a tennis tournament during the French Open fortnight at Roland Garros, namely the Longines Future Tennis Aces, as well as a race for young jockeys – the Prix Longines Future Racing Stars – held alongside the Prix de Diane Longines at the Chantilly Racecourse near Paris. I already presented Roland Garros and the Prix de Diane Longines but next time I’d like to focus on kids too !
